Local Support: Tri-Cities Moms Group’s Fundraiser for Olivia

 

I have been a part of the Tri-Cities Moms Group (TCMG) for as long as I can remember. When I had a million questions as a new mom, they were the group I would turn to. If I want a service done locally, they’re the ladies I trust to get a referral. When I was seeking the best orthodontist in the Tri-Cities, without a doubt, they suggested the top notch ones out there.

And now is the time for all of us to work together and support a family who have always been there for the group.

Isabelle Chernier, a mom in the group,has a child named Olivia, who has Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma (childhood cancer).

 

There is a treatment, which has shown positive results in reducing relapses in children with Neuroblastoma, that is not available at BC Children’s Hospital. The estimated costs for participating in this trial would be about $70,000 US. The hope is to raise enough money to cover these costs.

The TCMG is a positive online meeting place for neighbourly or anonymous discussion. This is a highly engaged group that runs over six thousand moms! Through events and sponsorships, the TCMG touches the lives of many local families in need.
