About a month ago, sweet Patti from Vancouver Kids Fashion Week invited my girls and I to a fashion challenge over at Blake & Riley in Vancouver. We were told we could pick out any items in the cute little boutique! Naturally, we said YES!
Blake & Riley is a boutique located in the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver. They have unique and trendy items for kids and mom. Liv chose a dusty pink top embroidered with a bunny and I chose a blue-grey top with ruffle detail and a pair of fleecy culottes. We had so much fun with it – not to mention lots of laughs! The best part was that got to try on pieces that are out of our usual comfort zone – Liv in lacy skirted leggings (which she ended up loving) and me in a pair of suede pants.

The best part of the evening was when Liv noticed them following us and documenting our every move. She very loudly asked, “Mama, why are they following us?!?” Oh dear. Needless to say, the evening was memorable and fun.
