Eeek! There’s only 6 shopping days left!
If you have a fit girl in your life and are at a loss on what to get her, here are my top picks!
Bands are one of the most versatile pieces of equipment. They can be used in a variety of ways. They can be used for an upper body, lower body or a full body. They are great for functional training and especially core and stability movements. If you want to give the glutes a burn – incorporate these into your squats, lunges and lateral exercises. And they’re great to travel with because they’re lightweight and don’t take up any room. I have these ones and I use them with my clients and in my own workouts.
Y’all know how much of an advocate I am with home workouts (make movement work for you), so this 4-DVD yoga set from Namaste Move makes so much sense (you can also purchase them separately). Pull it out and let your mood dictate your practice. It features all levels of movement so you can go at your own pace or create your flow sequence. There are 30 tutorial videos from beginner to advanced. Four seasons of yoga right in the comfort of your own home, whenever you want. Put a show on for the kids and choose a DVD and get ready to namaste. They are currently having a killer sale too – 50% off EVERYTHING. You can order, ship it to your bestie’s house so it’ll be ready for her to pull out whenever she’s needing some re-centering.
RHA True Connect Sweatproof Wireless Ear Buds
One of the most annoying things when you’re working your butt off trying to reaching a PB is having a cord dangling in front of you! Upgrade your running bestie/wife/husband/partner to some sweatproof/weather resistant earbuds! They have a comfortable fit and a 3 year warranty. One feature I love is that it comes with its own charging case for up to 4 charges!
IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo
My ultimate go-to dry shampoo recently. It works so well without feeling like you have a lot of ‘stuff’ in your hair. It contains charcoal which is a great detoxifier. A little goes a long way! So great to pair with some hair ties or a shower cap (see below).
We’re all busy. A workout is a must but we can’t always fit in a hair wash. I have your answer: Shhhowercap. Just tie the hair in a high pony and tuck everything under the cap. This cap isn’t your standard plastic $ store shower cap. It is more durable and the designs are super cute too!
It’s hard to find a good yoga mat. Some are made from toxic materials, some are too slippery or too thin. I have been using this one from Lululemon for awhile now and I LOVE it. It’s 5mm thick so it’s comfortable. It gives me great grip so that I don’t slip and it’s easy to clean – it’s antibacterial!
Steve Nash Fitness & Sports Club
So you probably know I recently partnered up with Steve Nash Fitness & Sports Club but I didn’t have a gym membership for the past 10ish years! Can you believe that coming from a trainer? I’m not a gym person. I quit my gym because with young kids and work and limited time, I just couldn’t get there. I relied a lot on home workouts (which I still do!) and I squeezed in a workout wherever I was training clients. It turns out, I’m a total gym person! SNFC has become a sort of sanctuary for me. I go there after I drop off the kids at school and get my sweat on. I meet people and get to work with the same people. I look forward to scheduling in which group fitness classes I want to try and I get excited to test out different movement routines. If you have a friend you’ve been dying to workout with, grab her a SNFC GC to get her started on her first month. Right now, they are also offering new members their first 30 days free. It’s a no brainer if you have a gym lover who’s in a rut or new in town.
So there you have it – my top favourites for the fit girl (or guy) in your life.
Which one is these is your fave?
