I heard so much about this book. Maybe it was overhyped and my expectations were too high but it didn’t wow me. While it did take me awhile to get into it, the story was good and it wasn’t as cheesy as some romcoms. I plan on reading her second book, Hook, Line & Sinker. 😊

I think I was still coming off my high from reading All Rhodes Lead Here bc I kept trying to dissect the characters in this deep profound way. 🤣

I really liked the characters. Esp how Brendan was immediately attracted to Piper (and knew it!) and didn’t take half the book to realize it. 😆 The chemistry was excellent. 👌🏼 It definitely has the grumpy/sunshine trope. Fun fact: Piper’s character is based on Alexis from the show, Schitt’s Creek.

There were some extra spicy scenes in this book that did not disappoint. 🌶 ☺️
