EASY DIY Dog Costume for Swifties

Do you dress your furry pup for Halloween? This was inspired by Taylor Swift’s short film, “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)”. It is perfect for all fans of Taylor Swift.

I threw this together in 15 mins and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

You’ll need a red scarf that’s large enough to go around your pup with excess for the beret or some extra red fabric. You can find video directions here.

Materials

  • Red scarf or red fabric
  • Glue gun
  • Sharp scissors

Cut the scarf or fabric to fit around youth pup.

Make the stencil for the beret. Cut two circles out of newspaper.

Then cut the inside corner of ONE of the circles. This will be the rim.

Next, lay the stencil into the fabric and cut. I folded the fabric and the circle so I would only have to cut a half circle.

Now you have two pieces. Cut a skinny rectangle for the loop on top of the beret.

Now we glue!

For the loop: cut a slit in the middle and thread the loop through. Then secure with glue.

Flip it inside out and we have a beret!
